Behavioral Adaptation for water Security and Inclusion (BASIN)

BASIN is a 3-year (2023-2026) project funded by IDRC-CRDI. The project will assess individual and community risk perceptions to understand behaviors around extreme events and motivating behavior change at climate resilient adaptation. The project will be implemented within two case study areas in Mpwapwa(Dodoma) and Mkindo catchment (Mvomero).

The project focuses on strengthening water resilience through a combination of understanding and eliciting behavioral changes with the application of structural measures and policy interventions.
