Women Legal Empowerment project (LEF)

LEF is a 2-year (2022-2024) project funded by Globalhumanrights under Legal empowerment Fund the project aim to increased knowledge on women rights to water resources access in kilosa and ifakara The project intend to achieve following outcomes ;

• 1,500 women and 500 men in project areas will have improved their legal literacy on women’s water rights. 
•        At least 50 women actively participate in legally recognized decision-making processes regarding water resources allocation at village and ward levels.
•      Kilosa and Ifakara district councils demonstrate willingness to scale up lessons and best practices on women’s legal rights to water.
